1. Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. When you link a brokerage account via Plaid, we store your holdings data (tickers, quantities, cost basis) to provide portfolio impact analysis. We also collect news source URLs you add and your watchlist preferences.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used to: (a) provide and personalize the Service; (b) display portfolio impact analysis; (c) send notifications about articles affecting your watchlist; (d) process subscription payments; and (e) improve our prediction models and user experience.

3. Brokerage Data

Brokerage connections are established through Plaid, a secure third-party service. We receive read-only access to your holdings and positions. We do not store your brokerage login credentials. You may disconnect a brokerage link at any time from Settings, which removes your synced holdings from our system.

4. Payment Information

Subscription payments are processed through Base44 Payments (Wix). We do not store your credit card number or full payment details. We retain records of your purchase history (plan, amount, status) for account management purposes.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with: (a) service providers that help us operate the Service (Plaid, Wix, data providers); (b) authorities when required by law; and (c) other users only when you explicitly choose to share a news source as "shared."

6. News Sources & Articles

Articles you add as custom sources may be processed and analyzed. If you mark a source as "shared," resulting articles and predictions may be visible to other users. Private sources and their articles are visible only to you.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time from Settings → Profile. Certain records may be retained for legal or operational purposes after deletion.

8. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest. Row-level security ensures users can only access their own private data. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to: (a) access your personal data; (b) correct inaccurate data; (c) request deletion of your data; and (d) export your data. Exercise these rights through Settings or by contacting support.

10. Cookies & Analytics

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and analytics to understand how the Service is used. We do not use advertising cookies or sell analytics data to third parties.

11. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated policy in the app.
