By creating an account and using ImpactLens ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ImpactLens provides news-to-stock impact analysis, including AI-generated predictions about how news articles may affect publicly traded companies. The Service is for informational purposes only and does not constitute financial, investment, or trading advice.

3. No Financial Advice

All predictions, confidence scores, and analyses generated by ImpactLens are produced by automated models and are not recommendations to buy, sell, or hold any security. You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions. Always consult a qualified financial advisor before making investment decisions.

4. Investment Risk

Securities trading involves substantial risk, including the potential loss of principal. Past performance and historical prediction accuracy do not guarantee future results. ImpactLens is not liable for any financial losses resulting from actions taken based on information provided by the Service.

5. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service.

6. Subscriptions & Payments

Paid subscription tiers (Pro, Elite) are billed on a recurring basis through Base44 Payments. You may cancel auto-renewal at any time from Settings; paid features remain accessible until the end of the current billing cycle. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact support for assistance.

7. User-Added Content

You may add custom news sources to the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to access and share any content you submit. Shared sources may be visible to other users at your discretion.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to: (a) attempt to access another user's data; (b) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (c) reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service; (d) use the API to build a competing product; or (e) redistribute predictions or data without authorization.

9. Third-Party Data

The Service relies on third-party data providers, news sources, and market data feeds. We do not guarantee the accuracy, timeliness, or completeness of any third-party data.

10. Limitation of Liability

ImpactLens and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
